Summary
Antidetect Profiles is a desktop app for macOS and Windows. Browser profiles live on your computer by default. Optional cloud sync on paid plans copies profile data you choose to our servers so you can restore it on another machine. We use HTTPS (TLS) between the app, this website, and our API. We do not claim SOC 2 certification, Apple notarization, or Windows Authenticode signing until those are verified on published builds. We do not claim end-to-end encryption of sync payloads: data is protected in transit with TLS and stored on our side for sync and restore.
Local storage
Each profile has its own folder on disk (cookies, history, local storage, cache, and saved logins for that profile). Proxy credentials for local-only profiles stay on your device. Uninstalling the app or deleting a profile removes that local data from your machine (subject to your OS behavior for trash/recovery).
What cloud sync includes (Standard and Pro)
When you enable sync for a profile, the app uploads profile backup data needed to restore it elsewhere, including:
- Profile settings and fingerprint configuration
- Cookies and browser storage associated with that profile
Transfer uses HTTPS/TLS. After upload, copies are held on our infrastructure so you can download and restore them when signed in on another Mac or Windows PC. Trial and Local Unlimited plans do not upload profile backups.
Account and website data
We store account email, a hashed password, plan status, and (if you use sync) the synced profile backups described above. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we receive confirmation and plan details, not full card numbers. See the privacy policy for retention and deletion.
Website and analytics
We aim to keep this marketing site free of advertising trackers and third-party ad pixels. We may use basic server logs (IP, time, path) for security and troubleshooting. If we add analytics later, we will update this page.
Download integrity
We publish SHA-256 checksums for Mac and Windows zip downloads on the download page. Compare the hash of your file before you run the installer.
Platform signing (honest status)
Until Developer ID notarization (Mac) and Authenticode signing (Windows) are live on the builds we ship, first launch may require Gatekeeper or SmartScreen exceptions. Installation steps are documented in docs.
Reporting vulnerabilities
Email security@antidetectprofiles.com with a description, steps to reproduce, and impact. We also publish security.txt. Please allow reasonable time to investigate before public disclosure.
